Whirlwind 2011
So, I was looking up some old information on my Blog and realized that I have not posted since before Christmas! Holy Cow I can't believe it has been that long.
So, to catch up with you all it has been a busy busy beginning of the year so far. My fabric shop is taking off like gangbusters, which is fantastic. Some new fabric that has come in this week is from Michael Miller, I am just itching to make a quilt with it:
This fabric is called Mod Swirls in Kelly green. Coordinating fabrics are Groovy in Spa, Mini Ironwork in Turquoise and Kona Azure. All of these fabrics can be purchased at www.suzyqsfabric.etsy.com.
New in my quilt shop are my Shell Collecting bags. The bags are available in two sizes, large and small and two closure styles, zipper or drawstring. All are embroidered with a word or name of your choice. These are great for wedding favors, vacations, or birthday party gift bags. Your kids, grand kids, nieces, nephews etc will never mix up their shell collections again. The bonus for you is that all the sand falls out of the bottom through the mesh so no sandy mess to clean up!
These bags can be purchased in my Quilt Shop at www.suzyqquilts.etsy.com with the fabric and mesh color of your choice.

Christmas is Coming! FAST!
Holy Cow is each day flying by right now. Suzy's workshop is in full swing making Christmas Stockings, Tree Skirts and Family Trees.
I got a nice surprise yesterday and found that I was featured in a great holiday treasury on the FRONT PAGE. Only the second time I have been there and sooo exciting. Here's a look if you missed it:
In other exciting news I am also going to have my line of re-useables featured in a new local boutique. It's called Urban Boutique and located at 436 W Bakerview Rd Suite 107. Urban Boutique is featuring many local artists with an eco friendly vantage point.
Cheers!
